Who is eligible to play?

Preparing for the Future at East!

The EFHS Feeder Football Teams are comprised of 6th and 7th grade students who are districted to attend East Forsyth High School in Forsyth County Georgia.

Most of our players attend Little Mill Middle School and some are from North Middle (but ALL will attend East High School). Fifth graders in Chestatee Elementary and Chattahoochee Elementary will want to sign up during the Spring of their final semester in 5th grade and attend Spring Training that semester too, which typically starts in April.

All Experience Levels Welcome

Athletes of all experience levels are welcome to be part of the EFHS Feeder Football teams. Whether you’ve been playing rec football for 6 years, or never stepped foot on a field before… or anything in-between. Middle School is a great time to try tackle football, and learn critical skills that will carry over to an 8th grade and/or High School team.

Sports Physical Required

Each player must have Georgia Sports Physical completed by a physician and uploaded to TeamSnap during registration or sometime before Spring Training. Players must complete this step before they set foot on the field for any practice. They are good for one year, so if it expires before the end of the season, they will need an updated Sports Physical turned in before the old one expires.

Preparation for High School Football

Introduce offensive and defensive concepts, formations, and calls that will build through middle school into High School. Begin introduction of true competitive football where playing time is earned and not always balanced.

Develop the STUDENT-athlete

We place a premium on students developing character, self-advocacy, personal accountability and responsibility. The majority of our players are on honor and merit roll at their respective middle schools during and after the football season!

WIN

We will enter the season with the expectation to be undefeated region, division, and state champions. We are still successful if we do not achieve this but that is the standard we are chasing.

Coach Collaboration

We’ve got something special with the One East cluster of schools. Coach Collaboration!

Our very own Feeder Football 6th and 7th grade coaches, Little Mill Middle School Football coaches, and the Head Varsity Coach at East Forsyth High School all work together to help build strong student athletes and programs for our schools and community.

Players can build a strong foundation in 6th and 7th grade to prepare them for 8th grade football at Little Mill (or North). They learn high school plays now in Feeder Football, so when they play for East High School, they’re already familiar with plays and have a head-start as solid athletes!
